#ThrowbackThursday – Mike Wooster named Carrier Transicold Parts Manager of the Year

Keizer companies employees have received many awards over the years to recognize the excellence of their work. Today we look back at 2014 when our Sioux City Parts Manager Mike Wooster was awarded the Parts Manager of the Year for the complete Carrier Transicold dealer network. Shane Keizer, the owner of Keizer companies said “Mike’s number one concern is to find the customer a solution and he uses his skills and experience to work with Carrier to that end. I am very proud of him and his team.”

This national recognition is awarded to the top performing manager of aftermarket components from the Carrier Transicold dealer network, a supplier of industrial equipment to the food service transport industry with over 600 dealers nationwide. Carrier Transicold selected Mike for the award for his exceptional performance and support of both his dealership and the Carrier Transicold brand. His outstanding customer focus, peerless operational management, and strong sales results were the defining factors in the selection process.

Keizer companies own two Carrier Transicold dealerships, Keizer Refrigeration, Inc. in Sioux City, IA, and Transport Refrigeration of South Dakota, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD. Both are top-performing distributors for Carrier Transicold.

Mike Wooster is one of our longest serving employees. He joined Keizer companies in 2001 and in 2007 was promoted to the Parts Manager role. Having lead the department from strength to strength he was then promoted to the role of Operations Manager in 2016. Mike and his team continue to deliver first class service to our customers, now at a new location in Sioux City, IA, at 5220 Harbor Drive along Interstate I-29.
