Mid-States Utility Trailer Sales, Inc. is one of the largest semitrailer dealers in the U.S. today with four locations in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. We serve thousands of customers, both in and traveling through the Midwest, through our dealerships in Omaha, NE, Sioux City, IA, Des Moines, IA and Sioux Falls, SD. 

We are growing and adding an Outside Aftermarket Parts Sales Representative to our after-market parts sales team.  This position is responsible for selling parts for new and used trailers as well as heavy-duty parts for brands like; Utility captive parts, Stemco, Haldex, Hendrickson, Kinedyne, Phillips and Grotet.  As well as promoting the services provided by Mid-States Utility Trailers Sales, Inc. through the achievement of opportunity-based sales goals. This representative will reach his or her business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer sites, as well as making phone calls and creating invoices.  This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role. The territory covers up to 150-mile radius around Omaha. Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
  • Ability to demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service
  • Able to effectively speak, listen and handle customer complaints and concerns
  • Ability to grow and maintain customer relations
  • Experience in the transportation industry with an emphasis on semi-trailer body, parts and service preferred.
  • Lift up to 30 lbs. consistently, 70 lbs. regularly, 100 lbs. occasionally
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Organizational skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
