Bob Guenette Memorial Golf Scramble

On September 7, in Grand Island Nebraska, Midwest Express held the first ever 4-person golf scramble in remembrance of their long-time employee Bob Guenette who had passed away back in 2013. The golf tournament was set up in his honor in order to raise money for scholarships within the diesel tech field, supplying schooling to future diesel techs.

The golf-scramble was incredibly successful, this year, selling out and managing to raise a large sum of money which is being set forth to supply scholarships to some of the schools in the Midwest area.

Dave Willman, Trailer Sales Representative from Mid-States Utility Trailers, Inc’s Omaha branch, was in attendance at the Golf Scramble where he organized a 4-person team to compete with him, as well as a second 4-person team to join in playing and raising money for the cause. The company sponsored the event as well as one of the holes sponsored by Dave and his wife.
